It is with deep regret that we report the passing on January 6th of long-term NEWCAP member, LaRue Sipes, who played an instrumental role in our organizaton, particularly in the earliest days, when we were just gettting started. 

The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor on Saturday, Jan. 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Ceary, her pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Pipe Creek Cemetery, near Linwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Linwood Brethren Church, 575 McKinstrys Mill Road, Union Bridge, MD 21791.
